webinar_190912_illu_title

As the burden of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) increases, new and innovative modes of managing them in primary healthcare and community settings are being investigated by various countries. There is a growing realization internationally that combating NCDs would require a multifaceted approach and collaboration among professionals and institutions that have traditionally worked separately.

This webinar gives an overview of the different means of involving CHWs in preventing and managing NCDs from four Asian countries (Bangladesh, China, Nepal and Viet Nam) and discuss the challenges to integrate CHW-led NCD programmes.

This webinar is the 8th of a series organized by the Community Health’CoP.
