Communities of Practice have existed in the global health landscape for several years, yet many experts are still unclear on their program theory and possible contributions in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals. Dr. Sameera Hussain begins with an introduction to the SDGs for Health CoP as a follow up to the recent Canadian Conference on Global Health, followed by Pr. Bruno Meessen, who presents some key concepts and principles. He shares his analysis on persisting gaps in knowledge management for global health. On the basis of his own experience, he suggests possible ways forward for experts to invest time and enthusiasm in our CoP.  He also presents The Collectivity platform.
